Event Settings
The Event Settings box controls what the event is called and when the rule is allowed to run.
Event Type
The GA4 event name pushed to the dataLayer (e.g. link_click, form_submit). Use lowercase names with underscores to match GA4 conventions.
Site Location (Pro)
Restrict where the rule runs: All Pages, Homepage only, or Specific Pages you choose. Free rules run on all pages.
Trigger Delay (Pro)
Delay the event push by a set number of milliseconds after the interaction — useful when other scripts need to finish first.
Stop Propagation (Pro)
Prevents the click from bubbling to parent elements, so nested trackable elements don’t fire multiple rules for one interaction.
Scheduling (Pro)
Give a rule a start and end date — handy for campaign-specific tracking that should switch itself off.
Rule limits
The free core allows up to 5 published rules; Pro removes the cap.
